Not a runner or walker? You can still be a part of the event! Volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of aspects throughout the race course.

Volunteer FAQs
- Do I have to stand the whole time?
No. Bring any kind of folding chair or seat for your comfort.
- What kind of volunteer positions are there?
Set-up, water stations, registration, and clean up are a few volunteer opportunities available. Contact us for more information.
- Can children volunteer?
Because we are concerned about the safety and well-being of everyone involved, we ask that only children 14 and older volunteer and that all minors are accompanied by an adult.
Can't attend the event at all? That's okay too. You can make donations to the HSOC 7 days a week, 365 days a year. But we hope to see you at the annual "Float Your Boat" 5K next year!
